[   What does laser tattoo removal feel like? Is it painful?   ]

For most people, the feeling of laser tattoo removal has been compared to what it feels like when getting a tattoo or a snap against the skin. We use a cooling device during the entire treatment and suggest patients apply a numbing cream (e.g. Emla) to help minimize any discomfort. The combination of the cooling device and numbing cream work great and also the treatment is very fast!

Avoid taking any blood thinners or aspirin for at least 1 week before your treatment. Avoid drinking alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours before your treatment. Exfoliate the area to be treated 1-2 days before your treatment. This will help to remove any dead skin cells and allow the laser to target the ink particles more effectively.
